TYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 1, 2017 — CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) has received clearance from the Federal Communications Commission for the company’s $34 billion acquisition of Level 3 Communications, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.
FCC’s approval follows recent clearances from the Justice Department and the California Public Utilities Commission and is the final regulatory step required to pave the way for the acquisition to close, CenturyLink said Monday.
